Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Confer with supervisors of other departments to coordinate flow of products.
• Coordinate and oversee the set-up and execution of all physical inventories. Monitors parts inventory on an on-going basis from continuous cycle counts, making recommendations and adjustments as needed.
• Ensure the movement of materials as needed and manage the operation of the material handling machinery to help maximize workflow.
• Manage the Team Members of the materials management department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of this unit.
• Assist and oversee the set-up and execution of overall logistics activities.
• Analyze production schedules and estimates work hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Analyze various reports (receiving, inventory movement) and then confers with supervisor to develop schedule for material handling,
• Design and Implementation Plan for In-plant Material Handling Processes.

• Design Best-fit part path mapping (material flow from dock to warehouse to line side).
• Design dock and storage assignments completing selected part path mapping.
• Calculate minimized material handling operator count, maximized zoning assignments and respective equipment requirements.
• Prepare the design and implementation plant or feasible in-plant material handling process.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• 4-6 years prior supervisory/management experience in materials management/inventory control or related experience.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in Korean.
• Ability to use SAP proficiently (Essential and most important)
