Responsibilities : Lead and manage a team of injection molding technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.Ensure that production schedules are met and that the team operates in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Oversee the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of injection molding machines.Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize processes, reduce cycle times, and improve overall efficiency.

Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed customer specifications.Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.

Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure proper maintenance and repair of molds and injection molding equipment.Schedule preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

Provide ongoing training to the injection molding team on best practices, safety protocols, and new technologies.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.

Maintain accurate production records, including cycle times, scrap rates, and machine downtime.Generate reports on key performance indicators and present findings to management.

Qualifications : Bachelor's degree or Associates Degree in Plastics Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in injection moldingMinimum 5 years leadership experience managing a team of technicians.

In-depth knowledge of injection molding processes, materials, and tooling.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.Familiarity with quality control systems and procedures.Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance in manufacturing.
