As we expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Maintenance Technician Utilities (Electrical) to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for Maintenance Technician Utilities (Electrical) with advanced skills in electrical utilities to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair critical electrical and utility systems supporting the production of automotive interior parts. This role requires experience with electrical systems, HVAC, compressed air, and other plant utilities, with a strong focus on ensuring that these systems operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, HVAC, compressed air, and water treatment systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues affecting utility systems and production equipment.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and utilities to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including electrical system repairs and equipment performance.
- Support and mentor entry-level technicians, providing guidance and hands-on training on electrical systems and utilities.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and electrical codes, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Work closely with other maintenance teams to support plant operations and minimize downtime.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to improve electrical system performance and reduce energy consumption.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in maintenance with a focus on electrical systems, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plant utilities (HVAC, compressed air, water treatment), and troubleshooting equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or formal training in electrical systems or industrial maintenance is preferred.
- Experience with electrical diagnostics and testing tools (e.g., multimeters, infrared thermography).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety standards.
