We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to join our team and ensure the continuous and efficient operation of our injection molding equipment and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Support regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on machines, robotic arms, and other associated equipment.
Support preventive maintenance activities to ensure the continued reliability and efficiency of production equipment.
Assist with diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on equipment and systems.
Work closely with maintenance technicians and engineers to identify opportunities for improving equipment uptime and overall machine performance.
Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure high-quality production standards.
Participate in machine installations, upgrades, and commissioning processes.
Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and improve production efficiency.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, log repairs, and document work performed.
Support continuous improvement projects focused on reducing equipment failure rates and improving operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, machinery regulations, and company guidelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Basic understanding of injection molding processes and equipment, or willingness to learn.
Familiarity with mechanical systems, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and troubleshooting techniques.
Hands-on experience with maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to resolve equipment issues quickly.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow procedures.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with CAD software or technical drawing tools for equipment modifications and improvements
Good communication skills and a willingness to learn from senior technicians and engineers
Ability to work overtime and flexible hours as needed to support mechanical team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and robotics.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and other control systems.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Experience in the automotive parts manufacturing industry.
