Position : Process Technician – Injection Molding

Status : Fulltime, NON-Exempt

Location : Savannah, GA

Company Overview :

Seoyon E-HWA, a leading manufacturer of automotive interior parts specializing in injection molded components, is seeking a skilled and motivated Process Technician to join our team. The Process Technician will be responsible for supporting the operation, troubleshooting, and optimization of injection molding machines used in the production of high-quality automotive parts. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid understanding of injection molding processes and experience working in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be proactive in ensuring the efficient operation of machines, minimizing downtime, and maintaining product quality.

Key Responsibilities :

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot injection molding machines to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
• Monitor and adjust machine parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, cycle time) to meet product specifications and ensure efficient production.
• Perform routine maintenance on injection molding equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts to prevent production downtime.
• Conduct mold changes, setups, and adjustments for different production runs, ensuring that molds are properly installed and functioning.
• Work closely with the engineering and production teams to resolve process-related issues and implement process improvements.
• Ensure that all production materials, such as resin, additives, and colors, are properly loaded, and that material quality meets specifications.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the production cycle, including measuring part dimensions and inspecting for defects or cosmetic issues.
• Perform troubleshooting and corrective actions for quality issues or machine malfunctions to minimize production disruptions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and environmental standards.
• Assist in process optimization efforts by identifying inefficiencies and recommending adjustments to reduce cycle time, improve yield, and lower scrap rates.
• Document and report all setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all aspects of production and machine operation.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations across the production floor.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback on ways to improve processes, equipment, and workflows.
• Assist in training new operators and team members on proper machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting techniques.
