Position: Production Manager

Company Overview:
Seoyon E-HWA is a leading manufacturer of high-quality automotive interior parts, specializing in assembly and injection molding processes. We are committed to delivering exceptional products through operational excellence and are currently seeking a skilled Production Manager to oversee production activities, optimize processes, and lead a team of supervisors in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Approve and verify timecards, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage labor allocation to meet production goals and resolve attendance issues.
- Oversee assembly and injection molding operations, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.
- Work with maintenance to minimize downtime and resolve production issues.
- Train and lead production supervisors, enhancing their leadership skills and knowledge.
- Foster continuous learning, focusing on safety, quality, and process efficiency.
- Lead initiatives to reduce cycle time and increase units per hour (UPH).
- Implement Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles to improve processes and efficiency.
- Monitor production schedules, ensuring timely and accurate order completion.
- Analyze production data, adjust processes, and prepare regular performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and defect-free products.
- Promote safety culture, enforce protocols, and address safety hazards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, preferably with experience in assembly and injection molding processes.
- Proven experience in managing teams, including training and developing supervisors.
- Strong background in cycle time reduction, UPH optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of assembly line and injection molding processes, including troubleshooting and optimizing operations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the automotive parts manufacturing industry.
