As we expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and experienced Quality Manager to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview:
As a Quality Manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality. You will lead a team of quality engineers, develop and implement quality control processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement activities while maintaining the QMS’ and IATF16949 standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
- Manage the Quality Engineers training and development.
- Managing and coordinating Internal Audit Program by planning and coordinating audits and ensuring resolution of audit findings
- Analyze data and trends to make recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers to resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintains Quality documentation, including but not limited to Control Plans, FMEAs, PPAP, etc.
- Maintain files for all test results, gage calibrations, dock audits, production records, and material certifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Development, Production, and other departments as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in Quality/Production Management in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Quality or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of quality control processes, GD&T, Quality testing to material and engineering standards is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with quality management systems and tools.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of automotive industry-specific regulations or standards.
