As we are expanding our operations, we are searching for a talented and experienced Automotive Quality Control Manager to ensure the production of high-quality interior automotive parts at their new Hutto TX location.

Summary of Position:

This position will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality. The manager will lead a team of quality control team members, develop and implement quality control processes, be hands-on with our interior products and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. This is a great opportunity for an individual to provide leadership to the Quality Control Department for safety, efficiency, and quality

Responsibilities:

· Interact with customers on technical and quality issues and provide improvement initiatives

· Manage a team of quality members with a focus on automotive interior parts

· Develop, implement and maintain quality control procedures, processes and standards tailored to automotive interior parts production

· Communicate with suppliers to resolve quality-related issues specific to automotive parts

· Aid in identifying and addressing quality issues in a timely manner, working closely with cross functional teams such as development, engineering and production teams

· Resolve nonconformances using root cause, failure analysis and provide corrective action

· Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations relevant to automotive interior components

· Support internal and external QMS audits in accordance with ISO 9001 and applicable requirements including metrics reporting

· Conduct supplier/vendor performance audits to ensure compliance with established protocols

· Manage and conduct QMS training providing support in product quality standards

· Investigate, evaluate and resolve supplier nonconformances and corrective action

· Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to quality control processes for automotive parts

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Mechanical/Chemical or related field

· Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control

· Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment

· Strong knowledge of quality management principles, control processes, methodologies and tools

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Familiarity with project management principles and practices

· Experience with implementing quality management systems and tools to support business growth

· Actively seeks areas for improvement and provides solutions

· Effective communication and leadership skills

· Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results

· Knowledge of automotive industry-specific regulations or standards

· Ability to work with cross-functional teams

· Experience with ISO 9001 or IATF-16949 Quality Management Systems

Salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $95,000 depending on experience
