Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CMM Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control and assurance, with experience in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure precision and accuracy in our manufacturing processes. This role is crucial for maintaining the highest standards of quality in our products.
Responsibilities
- CMM Programming & Operation
- PC-DMIS
- Assists in maintaining the SEPAC Quality Management System/Ensures product & process compliance on the shop floor
- Operationally assists in the Corrective Action Program/Tracks & Measures non-conformances/Assists in determining root cause/Works with Quality Manager to determine other malfunctions
- Conducts and supports the first article process, data collection and documentation, etc.
- Conducts raw material, work-in-process & finished product inspections/Documents/records findings
- Works closely with external suppliers and internal departments to address issues.
- Supports customer and agency audits, as needed/Works closely with Quality Manager, customer quality departments & representatives from regulatory agencies
- Assists the Quality Manager as part of the optimization of the SEPAC quote-to-cash process/Assists in ensuring the process steps are followed and documented
- Executes on all other tasks/initiatives as identified by the Quality Manager
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- PC-DMIS CMM Operation
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS9100 requirements with some knowledge of DI-9000 or equivalent, as determined by customer base
- Knowledge of Quality Systems and Associated Requirements
- Basic business writing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, make presentations and write concise reports for all levels of employees
- Working knowledge of computers including word processing/spreadsheets/databases

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.75 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
