Your role at Sephora:
As a Manager, Software Engineering, you will: Mentor and coach Android developers. Lead, design, and implement innovative software solutions using Kotlin programming language. Work with mobile product and engineering teams to analyze business requirements, evaluate new mobile operating system features and architecture, improve the user experience, and build revenue-generating features. Collaborate with systems architects and technical leads across functional groups. Participate in software code reviews and define coding best practices. Collaborate with User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) teams. (Position allows some work-from- home flexibility, with schedule to be approved by manager. Must be able to work on site as required.)
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the offered position, as a Software Engineer, or in a related development role for mobile software applications.
Experience must include:
- Programming with Kotlin and Java;
- Android mobile software development best practices,
- Android SDK,
- Android ADB,
- Android DDMS,
- SVN,
- Git;
- Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodology, Planning, execution, and control of projects;
- End to end software development lifecycle (technical design, developing code, unit testing, application deployment, and schema design); and
- Development of software modules for the Android Mobile Platform.
Salary: $200,500 to $212,600 per year depending on experience.
