Position Summary

The Sales Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the order lifecycle, from quoting and sales order review to fulfillment and delivery. With a strong focus on aftermarket sales and support, this role helps to streamline the process for replacement parts, warranty claims, and customer-specific orders. The role involves close collaboration with production, inventory, and shipping teams to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Order Processing, Entry, and Review

· Manage end-to-end order processing, including entry and validation of sales orders, reviewing order details for accuracy, and confirming specifications with customers when needed.

Quoting Support

· Assist the sales team in preparing and validating quotes for new and aftermarket orders, including replacement parts and service requests, ensuring pricing accuracy and inventory availability.

Inventory Management

· Oversee inventory levels, particularly for aftermarket and spare parts, coordinating with production and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock and support prompt fulfillment of customer needs.

Aftermarket Coordination

· Handle all aspects of aftermarket logistics, such as replacement parts and customer-specific configurations. Act as the primary liaison with the customer for any aftermarket inquiries once their order is placed, managing expectations and providing clear updates on order status.

Shipping and Transportation Coordination

· Coordinate with carriers to arrange shipments in alignment with the warehouse manager, optimize routes, and ensure delivery schedules align with customer requirements, especially for urgent aftermarket needs.

Customer Communication and Support

· Act as a point of contact for customers, updating them on order status, managing adjustments, and proactively communicating any delays or issues, particularly for aftermarket and high-priority orders.

Cost Control and Optimization

· Identify opportunities to reduce costs in order fulfillment and shipping, balancing customer requirements with budget constraints.

Data Analysis and Demand Forecasting

· Use sales data to forecast demand, especially for high-volume aftermarket products, and coordinate production schedules and inventory accordingly to prevent shortages and overstock. Provide sales, backlog, order and revenue data as needed.

· Maintain customer records currently in SAP and keep information up to date.

Continuous Improvement

· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in sales order processing, inventory management, and aftermarket response times.

· Own, document, promote and improve the process from order entry to order fulfillment throughout the company.

Required Skills / Knowledge

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience

· Experience with aftermarket logistics and sales support, especially for replacement parts and warranty orders.

Skills

· Strong understanding of inventory management, order processing, and logistics coordination.

· Excellent communication skills for effective customer and internal stakeholder interaction.

· Proficiency in ERP or order management systems (SAP is a requirement).

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines.

· Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and forecasting.

· Excellent command of the English language. Spanish is a plus.
