The Architect is responsible for the production of innovative, appropriate, cost effective, designs, drawings, and specifications for assigned projects in commercial, industrial, and institutional construction. This role requires the ability to successfully execute and lead all phases of design including initial programming, planning, feasibility, scope and concept development, detailed design, construction documentation, and construction administration. A broad range of experience, with the ability to work with a diverse client base is a must in this position. The Architect must maintain professional registrations/licenses in Missouri and Iowa and sign/seal documents prepared under their supervision. They will assist the Design department staff in training and development, ensuring company standards are met.

What We're Seeking:
- A candidate with a bachelor's degree in architecture and typically at a minimum 3-5 years of discipline experience, and four years as licensed professional.
- Must hold a current license as an Architect in the states of Missouri and Iowa.
- Have proficient design skills in all architectural and civil engineering disciplines as required to support the overall needs of Septagon.
- Display a positive, professional attitude.
- Excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to work well with limited supervision.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has supervisory responsibilities over the Design Department and staff.
