WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Develop and nurture potential customer leads in the company CRM through various channels, including tradeshows, customer visits, online research, website inquiries, referrals, cold calls, and other sources to maximize sales revenue.
- Qualify leads and inquiries by engaging in solution-focused conversations, ensuring customers are matched with the most suitable Septimatech product solutions.
- Prepare Requests for Quotations (RFQs) by assessing customer needs and aligning them with appropriate company products.
- Travel to customer plant sites or offices to build and strengthen relationships.
- Present proposals, follow up on quotations, address both business and technical objections, and resolve concerns to convert quotes into successful orders. Evaluate and negotiate projects to ensure profitable growth.
- Develop industry alliances and agent networks to support the expansion of territory and customer base.
- Maintain a steady flow of leads and opportunities to meet sales targets by effectively managing sales pipeline stages in the company CRM.
- Prepare and submit monthly sales pipeline reports utilizing accurate and up-to-date information within the CRM, including revenue forecasts, for review with the Sales Leader to evaluate progress toward sales goals and assist with operations planning.
- Manage customer accounts to generate new leads at other facilities, increase the penetration of Septimatech solutions, and stay updated on new products, services, and competitor activities.
- Strengthen customer relationships through regular communication and provide support for collection efforts when necessary.
- Promptly address quality issues and customer concerns to ensure satisfaction.
- Ensure clear communication of customer requirements, deliverables, and necessary information in quotes and purchase orders to support accurate design and manufacturing processes.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support team goals and company objectives.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales account management, preferably within the industrial products industry.
- Completion of a 3-year Business Administration program or a higher-level education from an accredited institution.
- Possession of a valid passport and eligibility to travel internationally without restrictions, including the ability to meet visa and work authorization requirements for all relevant countries.
- Willingness to travel frequently, with trips lasting up to 14 days per month, sometimes on short notice.
- A valid G-Class driver’s license is required.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong decision-making and negotiation abilities and sound judgment.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and the ability to apply mathematical reasoning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening skills with the ability to fully understand customer needs.
- Ability to conceptualize and propose solutions even without physical samples or drawings.
- Creative and open-minded, with the ability to develop innovative ideas and solutions.
