Geotechnical Driller
SEQ Drilling, Inc. utilizes heavy drill rigs to explore, test, and provide geological samples to geologists, engineers, and environmental scientists with safety being a priority. SEQ Drilling is looking for a candidate to join the team as Driller working with a well versed 25 year veteran in the the business. The Driller will be responsible for:

-Following safety protocols.

-Knowledgeable in vertical drilling obtaining test boring samples via Standard Penetration Test (SPT) via hollow stem augers is required.

- Must be able to classify soils according to ASTM standards.

-Pay rate will depend upon experience and knowledge of methods of drilling. Mud Rotary and Rock Coring

-Qualifications include verified driver's license with minimum class B commercial drivers license (CDL).

-Ability to lift 50 lbs.

-Ability to work in various environments.

-Some out of town work is required.

-Candidate with welding, and mechanical experience is a plus..

Expected hours: 32 – 55 per week

  • Geological drilling: 5 years (Required)
