Role Overview: We are looking for a Product Engineer to join our team and facilitate the design and manufacturing of our next line of exciting products. Product Engineer responsibilities include designing and overseeing the manufacturing process of our goods to ensure they meet our company’s safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designs products and coordinates the manufacturing process.
- Directs and manages the product lifecycle from ideation to market deployment.
- Translates design ideas into tangible products that satisfy customer requirements.
- Analyzes market trends, determines feasibility, and oversees production to meet specifications and safety regulations.
- Blends engineering skills and product knowledge to create market-ready items.

OUTSIDE VENDOR RESEARCH FOR QUALITY IMPROVEMENT
1. Research and recommend new equipment options to improve our output.
2. Attend trade shows to keep up to date on new technology and develop relationships with vendors.
OTHER, as assigned
1. Participate in Rubicon projects to bring quality and efficiencies into the system making it viable/visible to all.

- Knowledge of industry and market trends
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field is preferred
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Product Engineer
- Strong organizational and project management skills with an attention to detail and accuracy
- Results driven: Focused on individual and team success by being accountable to deadlines and collaboratively working together
- Wire and cable industry experience strongly desired
