Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Executive Director to join our team. As the leader of our organization, you will be responsible for representing us passionately, advocating for conservation in meetings and presentations, and engaging with landowners to help them understand how conservation easements can protect their land and legacy.
You will also be responsible for building strong partnerships with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as organizations like the Land Trust Alliance and regional conservation groups. Additionally, you will lead strategic fundraising efforts, cultivate relationships with major donors, and oversee digital and print communications to educate the public on the importance of conservation.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of land conservation, agricultural heritage, and environmental sustainability, as well as experience in non-profit leadership, fundraising, or community engagement.
