About You
Achieve exceptional growth and impact working closely with the CEO and with experienced commercial, product, software, R&D, production and deployment teams as one of Sequins’ early leaders.
You will play a critical role in implementing and shaping Sequins’ business operating processes and systems, as we develop and define our org-level SOPs to ensure maximum productivity, success and scalability.
Partner with the CEO and Exec Team to drive implementation of these systems while owning the integration of organization building initiatives into our strategic planning.
You’ll be keen to jump in and take on roles that vary according to our team capacity, regardless of whether it entails cranking though documentation or troubleshooting logistics, seeing yourself as a team player and not just as a coach.
You are an exceptional communicator and highly ambitious company builder, seeking to rise to the top in the life sciences industry among well-networked executives. Utilise and build your relationships with our market, investors and partners, board and all major stakeholders.
Essential Criteria
You must have the right to work in the United States. Bonus if you also have Australian working rights.
· Demonstrated leadership in developing, planning and implementing business processes and systems.
· Working knowledge of management frameworks and decision making within cross-functional teams.
· Experience and capability within organization planning and scenario modelling, including supporting financial planning from an organization wide perspective.
· Demonstrated capability to generate best-in-class materials and presentations.
· Exceptional attention to detail and clarity of expression.
· 6 yrs of experience in high-growth and responsibility roles within the life sciences industry or in technology companies with exposure to life sciences.
· Good understanding of software technology industry and technology company development.
· Working experience and familiarity with US business operations and structures including corporate initiatives, policies, legal frameworks and governance.
· Strong understanding of Sequins’ customer base and market dynamics, capable of conveying our value proposition to various audiences.
· Understanding and ability to contribute to corporate finance and corporate development activity.
· Skilled in managing end-to-end projects, including initiation, planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring alignment with stakeholder objectives and adherence to timelines and budgets.
· Data-oriented advanced analytical capability including advanced skills in working with Excel and BI tools.
Desirable
· Professional and/or academic experience of the genomics industry, or alternatively within life science tools and reagents, or clinical diagnostics.
· We do not require an MBA, but the ideal candidate would be comfortable with an equivalent breadth of management, business strategy and finance.
· Experience within or alongside Product or GTM teams.
· Exposure to the development of and regulatory approval for In-vitro diagnostics.
· A full-time role with a base salary in the range of USD $120 - $160K (subject to work experience) plus benefits.
