Overview
The Construction Foreman plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing various aspects of construction projects. They are responsible for coordinating tasks, supervising workers, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining quality standards. This position will be required to oversee scheduling, inspections, quality control and job site safety.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborates with Operations Manager and Project Managers to develop construction plans, schedules and timelines.
Coordinates tasks and allocates resources efficiently to meet project deadlines.
Ensures all necessary materials, equipment and manpower are available per project requirements.
Attends and participates in production meetings.
Familiar with the schedule and budget; ensures adherence
Ensures quality standards are met by conducting regular quality inspections
Monitors project timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
Monitors and ensures on-site safety compliance, cleanliness, and orderliness.
Maintains records for site personnel such as daily field reports, field orders, and RFIs.
Maintains daily log for job site’s operations and reports to Operations Manager as needed
Assists with payroll documents for team member timekeeping functions in a timely manner
Liaising with project managers, subcontractors and other stakeholders to facilitate professional communication and collaboration
Provides regular progress updates, reports and documentation to Operations and Project Managers
Completes other projects as assigned by the Operations Manager and Project Managers
Qualifications
Minimum of five years’ experience in construction
Experience in exterior construction envelope a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to read and understand construction plans & specifications
Prior experience and understanding of engineering and construction terms/language
Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient
Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
Compensation
The compensation for this position is $38.00 - $48.00 per hour depending on experience.
