The Creative Director, Copy leads the creative development of sound content and the execution of concepts and initiatives within our in-house Marketing Team. This role inspires internal teams and clients with its creative vision, client focus, and technological knowledge to deliver experiences that drive results. Main responsibilities include crafting strategic copy for various platforms, leading creative excellence, developing campaigns, and driving overall brand strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Develops strategic, client-engaging, and creative marketing solutions for each portfolio of services through appropriate marketing channels/platforms.
- Fosters cross-functional relationships with key business partners to create a deeper understanding of goals, needs, and limitations and builds trust and alignment.
- Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to share and present your vision to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborates closely with internal digital designers and content specialists on project deliverables and timelines.
- Develops other team members by prioritizing open communication, recognition, and professional development.
- Builds awareness of the competitive landscape and identifies best-in-class executions within and outside the industry.
- Stays on top of market trends and research; Shares relevant insights, trends and technology with the team that would enhance marketing deliverables.
- Contributes to department operations and team workflow to ensure work is following strategy and project goals are being met.
- Develops and implements creative strategies for copy across various channels (digital, print, social, etc.).
- Ensures that all copy aligns with brand messaging, tone of voice, and overall marketing objectives.
Requirements
Required Skills/Experience:
- 10 years of experience in an agency or in-house marketing team
- Strong digital marketing/digital platform experience and knowledge
- Experience leading creative projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience managing and mentoring team members
- Excellent presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
- An online portfolio is required
- Financial services industry experience is preferred
