The Agriculture Teacher's primary role is to supervise and instruct students across various agriculture-related disciplines. As part of the Virtual Academy team, this teacher will lead three live classes and one asynchronous course. Live classes will consist of one-hour virtual sessions held twice weekly. Instructional opportunities may include Dual Enrollment courses in partnership with Yuba College, Career Technical Education (CTE) Pathway coursework, and science courses that fulfill graduation requirements. Additionally, these courses may be supplemented or replaced with clubs, courses tailored for younger students, or field trip experiences, particularly those aligned with 4-H or FFA programs. The Agriculture Teacher will also maintain twice-weekly virtual office hours, monitor student progress, assign grades, and provide individual support through scheduled student appointments as needed.
