This position is a 90-day temporary contract with the possibility of renewal based on performance and facility needs.
Available Shifts
- PM Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- NOC Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
- Provide constant observation and supervision to assigned residents to ensure safety
- Prevent falls, injuries, or wandering of at-risk residents
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist with non-clinical needs like repositioning, comfort measures, and call light response
- Report any changes in resident condition to nursing staff immediately
- Maintain resident privacy, dignity, and respect at all times
- Follow infection control and facility safety protocols
- Maintain accurate observation documentation if required
- Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors
- Adhere to facility policies and procedures
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in healthcare or as a patient sitter preferred (but not required)
- Must have a compassionate and patient-centered attitude
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods
- Must pass background check and health screening
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Starting pay: $16.58/hour
- Potential for contract renewal after 90 days
