What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant for F-35 JPO PM Support position at Serco North America?
Serco provides program management contractor support services with full acquisition lifecycle development, production, and sustainment of the F-35 Program, DoD’s largest acquisition program. Our team provides a range of program management knowledge-based services including, business and financial management, analytics, compliance, operational analysis, training and simulation, logistics, and foreign military sales.
You will provide direct administrative support to Serco’s Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager within Serco’s Centralized Project Management Office (CPMO). This includes daily interaction with Serco personnel and the Customer.
In this role, you will:
- Assist the CPMO with onboarding and departures of Team Serco personnel.
- Scheduling meetings and appointments using tools like Outlook, Microsoft Teams or Google calendar.
- Drafting professional emails, reports, or correspondence.
- Building positive relationships with colleagues, clients, teammates.
- Organizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing schedules effectively.
- Assist the CPMO with other administrative tasks such as badge requests, scheduling hot desks, scheduling and setting up Conference Room meetings, tracking accesses, procuring office supplies, etc.
Qualifications:
- The ability to provide on-site support at Serco Office located in Crystal City, VA Monday-Friday of a regular work week.
- Organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A High School Diploma or GED (Associates or Bachelors degree account for years of experience).
- A minimum of 1 year of professional work experience
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and other relevant software.
- Basic IT Skills: Troubleshooting minor technical issues and using office equipment like printers and scanners.
- Customer Service Skills: Answering inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in documentation, data entry, and communication.
