As an Intermediate Benefits Administrator, you will:
- Perform a variety of support activities to include, but not limited to initiating benefit payments and data loads for plan intake, processing of benefit applications, entering data into PBGC systems of record, conducting research for participant issues, and issuing benefit determination letters.
- Achieve operational objectives by adhering to the defined policies, procedures, workflows and work standards of the assigned processes and workflows to ensure that all assigned deliverables are performed efficiently and effectively.
- Work under immediate supervision and reports to a supervisor.
- Adhere to performance management policies, meet established production and accuracy standards, and uphold Serco's Zero-Harm Health, Safety, and Environmental culture.
In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the hourly rate of pay is $22.40; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- High School Diploma or GED.

Two years of related experience
- Experience can include, but not be limited to: employee benefits, claims processing, billing, payroll, banking, human resources, customer service, and/or quality review.
- Must be able to exercise analysis and have experience in selecting documented procedures to follow in searching for, interpreting, selecting, or coding items to be entered from a variety of source documents.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures as it relates to benefits administration.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Public Trust Security Clearance.
- Microsoft Office knowledge and experience.
