Position Description

If you love high profile and challenging projects supporting the US Navy, this Integrated Logistics Analyst position may be for you.

 

You will be part of a small team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality logistics services. Matt Weber leads this team with several years’ experience as the manger and is a Navy career veteran.  The team has been recognized by the Navy and the industry for their outstanding contributions to the contract and program.

 

You would serve as Logistics Analyst for the DDG 51 ship class and supporting Integrated Logistics Services (ILS) processes. Under the guidance of the customer, we participate in the development and implementation of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure effective and economic support for NAVSEA ILS execution; gather and analyze information for highly complex product plans and program objectives, provide tracking and status reports, and support distribution and delivery commitments.

 

As the Integrated Logistics Analyst, you will:

  • Provide support to senior logistics managers and correspondingly to the Logistics Program manager across the full spectrum of ILS elements.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure effective and economic support for NAVSEA ILS execution; gather and analyze information for highly complex product plans and program objectives, provide tracking and status reports, and support distribution and delivery commitments.
  • Design innovative solutions for complex, multi-faceted ILS problems.
  • Track deliverable status, adequacy, and trends.
  • Make a difference for the Fleet by identifying, tracking, and expediting resolution of broad array of ILS shortcomings.
  • Prepare class ILS status presentations, work products, track Availability metrics, track and report ILS certification status and ILS deficiencies.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customer and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with quality assurance and security requirements.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • An Active U.S. Government DoD Issued Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline with 5 years of relevant experience.
    • In some cases, educational requirements may be adjusted or waived for more than 7 years applicable work experience. Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in using metrics to examine, analyze and evaluate logistics trends or process indicators and provide recommendations.
  • Experience working with logistics processes in the Navy or Department of Defense.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically MS Excel and PowerPoint as required.
  • Former Navy Logistics Specialist servicemembers or Government Schedule (GS) employees are encouraged to apply.
  • 10% potential travel

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary for this role is $73,552.19 to $119,523.82; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
