Serco supports the US Navy as a prime for their Federal Services/HAZMAT Program contract which supports their defense work in Naval Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI. Our team plays a key part of the US Navy Ashore/Afloat activities with HAZMAT and CHRIMP support.

You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams which have been recognized by the U.S. Navy and the industry for their outstanding contributions to the contract and program.

In this role you will:

• Provide support for the US Navy CHRIMP activities at Naval Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, H
• Be expected to work with other HMC personnel to make sure all HAZMAT is stored properly in the warehouse spaces and that all environmental policies are followed.
• Be familiar with a variety of US Navy Ashore/Afloat and HAZMAT management concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Perform a variety of tasks under an assigned team lead.
• If compliance is not met information collected will be consolidated for final reporting up the chain of command.
• Maintain SAFETY DATA SHEETS, Authorized Materials Users List, and memorandum information's and data entries.

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $57,525.60 to $86,288.93; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• United States Citizenship
• Ability to obtain a NACI clearance
• High School Diploma / GED
• 3 years' related experience.
• Experience in DoD and/or Commercial Logistics/Inventory Management
• US Navy HAZMAT management or equivalent experience.
• Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed

Additional desired experience and skills:

• Current NACI
• Bachelor's degree
