You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams which have been recognized by the U.S. Navy and the industry for their outstanding contributions to the contract and program.
In this role, you will:
- Record and maintain control of all inventory items purchased and produced.
- Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures.
- Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
- May direct and lead the work of others although this is not a primary job function. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Validating locker conditions, material compatibility, and compliance with Navy HAZMAT database information.
- Visit customer locations to assess Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) locker compliance, and process results via an online portal. Collected information will be consolidated for final reporting to project leadership.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- US Citizenship
- Ability to get a NACI
- High School Diploma/ GED
- 4 years of related experience.
- Experience in DoD and/or Commercial Logistics/Inventory Management, US Navy HAZMAT management or equivalent experience.
- Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Ability to travel 10%
