As the Program Analyst based at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC., you will provide support for the Program Office at the Naval Sea Systems Command at the Washington Navy Yard. Bring your drive, and collaborative skills to make a positive impact supporting our military and the safety of our Sailors.
Serco supports the US Navy’s Shipyards and Naval Industrial Base efforts related workforce/workload management, logistic services, business operations, and total force initiatives in support of shipyard Corporate Project Execution, support, and workforce training. Serco will provide the technical scope and associated tasks for support of NAVSEA’s LEAN Process/Performance Improvement initiatives, Project Management National Value Stream directive, broader Project Management and Industrial Operations support, Coaching and Development for Deck-plate Project Team Performance, Environmental, Safety and Health program support, and miscellaneous support to the NAVSEA Team headquarters regarding industrial operations and management.
In this role, you will:
- Provide direct support to the program office management team.
- Build and maintain visual metrics and dashboards.
- Use information visualization to turn data into professionally designed dashboards or PowerPoint slides.
- Build, develop, and maintain repeatable, accurate, and credible metrics, dashboards, and reports, to better integrate processes.
- Ensure dashboards and reports are configured correctly and meet the standards set by customer.
- Identify and leverage Microsoft Suite software capabilities for specific dataset to optimize quality and accuracy of reporting output.
- Assist client dashboards and reports across the program.
- Prepare management reporting and presentation materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational performance by identifying trends and sources of variation.
- Develop and manipulate data or inframtion into a PowerPoint content.
- Gather and analyze data to ensure accurate reporting and analysis.
- Integrate data from various sources and ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Understand, identify and effectively communicate risk, opportunities, and challenges.
- Prepare and maintain reports, metrics, dashboards, and visualizations to support customer needs.
- Collect, analyze, and integrate data from various sources.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- An active or current DOD Secret Clearance
- US Citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of experience
- Experience working on Reporting and Data Analytics design and development through Microsoft Suite and specifically highly proficient in the use of PowerPoint.
- Experience using Microsoft SharePoint for data tracking and analysis is a plus.
- Experience in data analysis, integration and presentation development.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel.
- Proficiency in developing, preparing, and editing presentations and reports.
- Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed.

In compliance with the District of Columbia’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $73,552.19 to $119,523.82; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
