Serco supports the US Navy as a prime contractor in N96 which is responsible for determining surface combatant force levels, shipboard and related support requirements, and major characteristics of programs involving weapon systems, Cruisers, Destroyers, Frigates, Command ships, Patrol Craft, and Littoral Combat Ships (LCS). N96 executes planning, preparation, and execution in support of this mission.
ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.
In this role, you will :
- Provide on-site support, strategic analysis, and integrated support for N96 in accordance with DoD program requirements management and acquisition oversight policies and strategies for LCS and Frigate Programs on site in the Pentagon (Arlington, VA).
- Participate in requirements and acquisition processes involving Frigate programs to include Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) processing and Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) management of the Navy Surface Combatant capabilities.
- Assist in the Analysis of Alternative processes, meetings, reporting and briefing requirements.
- Prepare white papers, concept papers, technical reports, meeting summaries, briefs, outlines, draft reports and publications and documentation to support Flag level technical and financial briefings / meetings and major milestone decisions.
- Attend and provide support to Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Special Advisory Boards, and off sites.
- Maintain a strong relationship and open communication with the PEO Ships, PEO IWS, NAVSEA, Fleet Commands and related government activities and industries.
- Attend conferences as the N96 Navy representative on assigned programs as required.
- Review, develop, and update program specifications, guidance documents and technical documentation.
- Maintain daily liaison with Section Head and Branch leadership.
