Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

Serena & Lily is seeking a Director of FP&A to join our team for a 6-month basis beginning in May 2025. This position is remote, covering a maternity leave on the team, and reports to our Chief Financial Officer. The role will focus on leading the analytics and forecasting related to revenue through gross margin, as well as balance sheet and cash flow forecasting. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is naturally curious, data driven and enjoys the fun of forecasting accurately!
Responsibilities :
- Lead a team of two responsible for the planning of demand, gross margin, balance sheet and cash flow
- Collaborate with leaders in key functional areas including Merchandising, Planning, Logistics, Marketing, and Retail Operations
- Partner closely with the Accounting team to support the monthly close process and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial presentations for internal leadership team, Board of Directors and external customers (Bank, Auditors, and Investors)
- Deliver facts and support to drive key decisions in the business and achieve desired financial results
- Identify any areas for improvement in current FP&A processes
