Environmental Health & Safety Manager
Serena & Lily is seeking an Environment Health & Safety Manager. The EHS Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining a world-class safety culture within the distribution center, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and promoting a safety-first mindset across all operations. The role includes overseeing injury prevention, conducting safety audits, supporting environmental, health, and safety compliance, and leading the development of safety programs tailored to the organization’s needs. The EHS Manager will work closely with management and staff to implement safety protocols, investigate incidents, and track performance metrics.

The Environmental Health & Safety Manager is essential to maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment, ensuring the health and safety of our warehouse associates.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with location management to implement the company’s safety program.
- Educate and support department managers and team lead(s)in promoting safe work practices and behaviors.
- Conduct hazard analysis, safety audits, and compliance checks.
- Develop strategies to raise safety awareness and increase employee engagement.
- Maintain effective communication with employees, management, contractors, vendors, and external agencies regarding safety issues.
- Conduct safety orientations for new employees and provide ongoing training to current staff on safety protocols.
- Oversee fire safety measures, including fire drills, evacuation procedures, and emergency response protocols. Ensure regular inspection and maintenance of fire safety equipment.
- Manage safety compliance elements related to OSHA and other safety regulations applicable to the site.
- Lead incident investigations related to employee injuries, near misses, property damage, etc., and ensure completion of corrective actions.
- Analyze EHS performance data (e.g., injury trends, near misses) and develop metrics for tracking and reporting to plant management.
- Develop and deliver effective safety education programs to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Coordinate and lead site safety committees.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in safety management, environmental or occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety role, preferably in a warehouse or multi-facility environment.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, CTPAT compliance, physical security, and fire/life safety.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage complex, multi-faceted roles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- A certificate in safety management (e.g., CSP, ASP) is preferred.
- Proficiency in using safety management software and MS Office applications.
- Lean and/or Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
- Must be certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
- OSHA 30-hour Certification required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and occasionally up to 80 pounds
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, kneeling, and operating at heights (up to 35 feet) for long periods of time

COMPENSATION:
- $85k-$95k per year is the anticipated starting base pay for this role. This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this role. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: experience, education, and skills.

Employees can enroll in our company’s 401k plan. During the first year of employment, full-time employees accrue twenty-one days of PTO and seven paid holidays throughout the year.
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
