Job Title: Assistant Toddler Teacher

Salary Range: $16 to $18 per hour
Job Overview:
At Serendipity Creek Childcare Center, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for working with children, a nurturing personality, and a desire to create a positive and engaging learning environment for toddlers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities for toddlers
- Supervise and engage with children in indoor and outdoor play
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Assist with meal times, diaper changes, and maintaining a clean and organized classroom
- Communicate effectively with parents and team members
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with toddlers in a childcare setting preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check (Serendipity Creek Childcare Center complies with regulations that prohibit inquiring about criminal backgrounds)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
