**Job Title:** Support Teacher / Floater
**Job Type:** Full-time
**Location:** Serendipity Creek Childcare Center
**Salary Range:** $16 - $18 per hour
**Job Overview:**
At Serendipity Creek Childcare Center, we believe in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. We are currently seeking a Support Teacher / Floater to join our dedicated team. This role will involve assisting lead teachers in implementing educational and developmental programs, as well as providing support in various classrooms as needed.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Supervise and engage with children in indoor and outdoor play
- Support classroom management and ensure a safe and clean environment
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding children
- Provide positive and nurturing interactions with children and families
- Flexibility to move between classrooms and support where needed
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Education credits preferred
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow direction from lead teachers
- Must pass required background checks and maintain certifications as needed
