Job Description:
- Hiring/Recruitment of the entire Resident care team
- Maintain monthly resident care schedule and maintain overtime weekly.
- Edit ADP punches daily to help monitor overtime and hours worked
- Answer telephone in a professional manor and route call to the appropriate party
- Update and maintain resident/employee birthday list
- Assist resident with Activities of daily living, including but not limited to dressing, grooming, dining, etc.
- Exemplary computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Powerpoint
- Take on-call on a rotating basis with the Director Team to provide support for the on-call shift supervisor- required
- Assist with new-hire intake including posting positions, screening resumes, interviews, and hiring for care staff
- Maintain cleanliness of the building and assign cleaning duties to staff as needed
- Monitor Supervisor's log book for completion of tasks assigned
- Conduct tours when necessary
- Maintain appearance of building by rounding throughout the day
- Encourage and motivate shift supervisors and caregivers and bring forward new ideas to better these roles
Qualifications:
- Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation every single day
- Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
- Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
- Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
- Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
- Supportive and compassionate
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA or completion of a CNA Program
- Take pride in providing high quality care
