Certified Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Perform medication administration under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.
• Maintain an organized pharmacy environment by managing inventory, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper storage of medications.
• Utilize aseptic technique when compounding sterile products to prevent contamination and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care and address any medication-related inquiries.
• Document all medication-related activities accurately in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on pharmacy practices, critical care protocols, and new medications.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician from an accredited program.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacy operations, and acute care practices.
• Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in aseptic technique and medication administration processes.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and collaboration within a healthcare team.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality in all aspects of patient care.
