Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within our Private Club. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping management, with experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning environments. This role is crucial in ensuring that all areas are clean, safe, and welcoming for our members.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to cleanliness standards.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices in custodial care.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety protocols.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for staff.
• Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
• Implement floor care procedures to maintain the appearance of carpets, tiles, and other surfaces throughout the facility.

Skills

• Proven experience in housekeeping management within hotel or industrial cleaning settings.
• Strong understanding of custodial practices and procedures, including floor care techniques.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and guests.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
