What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Aquarium and Aviary Service Representative position at Serenity Aquarium& Aviary Services?

Our customers look to us to create a very serene and engaging environment for their residents/customers to enjoy. This particular role will primarily be servicing of aquariums and aviaries in nursing homes, assisted livings facilities. This is an entry level position that requires basic knowledge of hand tools and assembly. Lifting, bending, and some physical demands are involved in the position. This is a part-time remote position. Work must be done during business hours but is flexible on the days during the week. This position will be around 10-15 hours a month currently.
*Travel in a 90-100 mile radius may be required. (Mileage reimbursement is paid while driving, Hourly pay starts when you get on-site)
*Due to work being performed in long term care homes, masking/goggles may be required.

Required education, skills, abilities, and experience
- Experience in fish keeping and or bird keeping preferred
- Great attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to continually adjust priorities to match the business need.
- Strong work ethic along with being on time and maintaining good attendance.
- Ability to successfully communicate and contribute in a team oriented environment.
- Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English.
- Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude.
- Willingness to be flexible with schedule and job responsibilities.
- Able to travel in your service area radius
- Heavy lifting and maneuvering is required.
- Flexibility is a must!
- High School education is preferred.
- Driver’s License required
