Position Summary
The Direct Care Worker assists in quality care to help maintain or attain the patient's highest physical, mental and socio-emotional wellbeing. The assistant aids nurses in providing an optimal level of care through interpersonal contact and skills in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Serenity at Twin Lakes care standards. Maximum of 5 patients to 1 Direct Care Worker.
Education & Experience
- Must have CPR certification upon hire
- CPR certification must remain current during employment.
- 1-year of direct care experience preferred
Specific Job Requirements Must have advanced knowledge in the field of practice Must be able to assist with daily living activities

- Must be able to knowledgeably and competently deliver quality care to clients
- Must be detailed oriented
- Must have strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
- Must be able to utilize communication skills to relay information to the nurses in charge
- Must be team-oriented
- Must be able to transport patients
- Must be able to perform additional duties as given
- Must be able to Change beds, and clothing and collect soiled laundry
- Mus be able to perform light cleaning and organizing of patients room or area
- Understand and follow company policies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour
