Serenity Behavioral Health Services is on the lookout for a dynamic, compassionate, and experienced School Counselor/Social Worker to join our growing team in the Westerville/New Albany area! We’re seeking a therapist licensed in Ohio who is ready to bring their energy and expertise to support students in grades 5–12 within a welcoming charter school environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students in grades 5–12
- Address challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and more
- Facilitate empowering group sessions covering topics like anti-bullying, peer conflict resolution, and
social-emotional learning - Be a trusted mental health ally for students navigating a complex world
Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy
- Active Ohio licensure (LSW, LPC, MFT, LISW, LPCC, MMFT, LISW-S, LPCC-S, IMFT-S)
- Experience: one or more years in mental health or school-based programs
- Strong skills in CBT and Motivational Interviewing
