Job Title : In-House Roof Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable In-House Roof Repair Technician to join our growing team. This role requires an experienced individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality roofing repairs, works well under pressure, and is comfortable with both residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in both Spanish and English and have hands-on experience with roof repair and maintenance across various systems.

Key Responsibilities

Roof Repair and Maintenance :

Perform roof repairs on various types of roofing systems, including shingle, flat, tile, and

metal roofs.

Inspect roofing structures for damage, wear, and potential future issues.

Provide accurate assessments and recommendations for roof repairs or replacements.

Perform preventative maintenance to extend the lifespan of roofs.

Client Relations :

Communicate with clients regarding the scope of repairs, timelines, and any unforeseen

issues.

Answer client questions and concerns with professionalism and clear explanations.

Ensure client satisfaction by providing quality repairs and maintaining clear, open

communication.

Team Collaboration and Leadership :

Work closely with team members to ensure efficient job site management and quality

control.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and apprentices.

Collaborate with the project management team to address and resolve any roofing

issues promptly.

Safety and Quality Control :

Follow strict safety protocols to ensure safe working conditions on all job sites.

Perform thorough inspections to guarantee repairs meet company standards and code

requirements.

Operate equipment and tools in a safe, efficient manner, including ladders, safety

harnesses, and power tools.

Documentation and Reporting :

Keep accurate records of materials used, job details, and work completed.

Capture before-and-after photos of roof repairs for client updates and documentation.

Report progress and challenges to the project management team.

Qualifications

Education and Experience :

Minimum of 5 years of experience in roofing repair or a related field.

Hands-on experience with a variety of roofing systems (shingles, flat roofs, tiles, etc.).

Ability to read and interpret roofing blueprints, work orders, and technical manuals.

Experience with basic roofing tools, equipment, and safety protocols.

Skills and Competencies :

Strong understanding of roofing materials, systems, and installation techniques.

Proficiency in Spanish and English, both verbal and written.

Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment :

Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights.

Flexible work schedule, with the possibility of occasional weekend work.

Physical ability to lift heavy materials and carry tools as needed.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay :

30-$35 hour rate
