Director of Rehab

Serenity Estates of Morris is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the rehabilitation services within our organization. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in medical management, fiscal oversight, and human resources. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of rehabilitation practices, critical care, and relevant medical terminology, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with JCAHO regulations.

Duties

• Lead and manage the rehabilitation department, ensuring effective delivery of services to patients.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and JCAHO standards.
• Oversee budgeting and fiscal management for the rehabilitation services, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes in critical care settings.
• Manage human resources functions within the department, including staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and practices relevant to rehabilitation.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional development and teamwork among staff.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in medical management or a related field, preferably within a rehabilitation or healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of JCAHO standards and regulations.
• Demonstrated skills in fiscal management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Experience in critical care environments is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with dental clinic operations is a plus.
• Excellent human resources management skills, including team leadership and conflict resolution abilities.
• Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to rehabilitation practices.
• A background in veterinary medicine is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
