Serenity Estates of Morris is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the rehabilitation services within our organization. Duties
- Lead and manage the rehabilitation department, ensuring effective delivery of services to patients.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and JCAHO standards.
- Oversee budgeting and fiscal management for the rehabilitation services, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes in critical care settings.
- Manage human resources functions within the department, including staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and practices relevant to rehabilitation.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages professional development and teamwork among staff.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to rehabilitation services.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in medical management or a related field, preferably within a rehabilitation or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of JCAHO standards and regulations.
- Demonstrated skills in fiscal management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Experience in critical care environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with dental clinic operations is a plus.
- Excellent human resources management skills, including team leadership and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to rehabilitation practices.
- A background in veterinary medicine is advantageous but not required.
