Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) OR RN's to join our healthcare team. The LPN and/or RN will provide essential nursing care to our residents. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
Duties
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records for all patient interactions.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with other nurses and facility staff and physicians to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Participate in infection control measures, particularly in infectious disease care settings.
Skills
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Experience administering injections and managing medication administration protocols.
- Strong understanding of geriatrics and long term care.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care with a focus on comfort and well-being.
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures (ER) and basic life support techniques.
- Familiarity with healthcare systems and protocols related to patient management.
Requires LPN or RN license in good standing in the State of Illinois.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $36.50 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
