We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their treatment journey.
Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patient health status, including vital signs and medical history.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide ostomy care and support for patients with specific health challenges.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention strategies, including health coaching.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care in various settings, including ambulatory surgery centers and hospital medicine.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using appropriate medical terminology.
- Assist in pain management strategies to enhance patient comfort.
- Support patients with disabilities, ensuring they receive the necessary accommodations during their care.
- Participate in sterile processing procedures as required.
Experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Previous experience in geriatrics or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with basic life support protocols is essential.
- Knowledge of pain management techniques is beneficial.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including those with disabilities, is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team are required.
