This role contributes directly to patient care by leading our medical billing team and managing the overall billing process.

Job Type: Full-time (On-site) 
 

Location: Lehi, UT 

Be Excited to 

• Track and report on key performance indicators 

• Coordinate resolution of patient concerns regarding claims processing and billing issues 

• Manage coordination between multiple business functions 

• Improve policies and procedures for decreasing days in A/R 

• Ensure integrity and compliance in all collection-related processes 

• Promote a positive and solution-oriented team culture  

• Contract negotiation management 

• Process improvement across billing team 

• Complete all other duties as assigned 

Qualities we are looking for 

• Sincere commitment and desire to help patients take back their lives from health struggles 

• Experience in professional billing (not facility)-mental health preferred 

• Experience leading a team: at least 4 years of people leadership, 2 of which is in billing related setting 

• Experience in building teams through employee selection, training and onboarding, performance management, and engagement 

• Communicate areas in which the team can maximize performance to positively impact the financial performance of the practice and achieve key performance indicators 

• Ability to assist management in identifying obstacles to financial performance (Charge Capture, Payment Posting, Denial Management, Patient Collections, Overfunded Accounts, Coding Trends, Payor issues) 

• Experience with all areas of billing noted above 

• Professionalism in dress and conduct 

• Critical thinking, time management, detail orientation, excellent communication, and objectivity skills 

• Sense of urgency and desire to achieve results
