Medical Biller - Charge Entry
Onsite - Lehi
In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation, review, and submission of insurance claims to both insurance providers and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bill Preparation: Ensure bills are prepared promptly and accurately.
- Claims Review: Inspect claims for errors and make necessary corrections before submission.
- Handling Rejected Claims: Address and resolve any claims that are rejected.
- Claim Submission Monitoring: Track and verify that claims are successfully received by insurance companies.
- Eligibility Verification: Confirm insurance coverage and benefits through online portals or by phone as needed.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and a commitment to maintaining compliance.
- Medical Knowledge: Preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic Office Skills: Experience with faxing, transcribing, and electronic document filing.
