Description:
This position is for a highly-skilled, compassionate, and proactive acupuncturist who wants to lay down roots in an established clinic that cares about its clients, team, and the qi flowing through its healing space. We have a well-established, long-term (20 years) patient base, strong community presence, and the absolute best clients. While we see patients for a wide array of ailments, we most often treat internal medicine issues, pain management, women’s health, fertility, autoimmune disorders, and mental health, but all humans are welcome here.
Serenity has brought together the best practitioners in their fields of Naturopathic Medicine, Acupuncture and Chinese Herbalism, Massage Therapy, Chiropractic, and Reiki healing to collaborate on patient care for excellent patient satisfaction and outcomes. Many of our patients see multiple practitioners and are devoted to their healing for the long haul. We have a rockstar front desk team to allow you to focus on patient care.
Our ideal candidate is someone who wants to focus on patient care in a collaborative, supportive environment with other passionate practitioners. We are looking for an individual who has a positive outlook, is able to work independently and also willing to contribute to the evolution of the practice. Experience with Fertility Acupuncture, Cosmetic Acupuncture, or Micro/Nano-needling is a plus!
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' health needs and creating customized treatment plans
- Performing safe, effective acupuncture treatments to address a variety of health concerns, including pain management, stress reduction, and overall wellness
- Perform cupping, guasha, e-stem, moxibustion and other modalities when appropriate
- Treat 2 patients per hour (option for 3 for experienced candidates)
- Providing education and guidance to clients on holistic health practices, including diet, exercise, and lifestyle modifications when appropriate
- Maintaining accurate and thorough electronic SOAP note documentation of client treatments and progress
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to ensure integrated care for clients
- Management of company communication channels (Monday through Friday, business hours or if seeing clients on a weekend shift)
Qualifications:
- Licensed Acupuncturist in Illinois
- Must have and maintain professional liability and malpractice insurance.
- Strong knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine principles and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development
