Clinical Director - Central PA Area (Lancaster, York, Dauphin, Lebanon Counties)
Serenity Hospice, a leader in end-of-life care, is seeking a Clinical Director for our Central Pennsylvania region. This role is pivotal in overseeing our clinical nursing department to ensure that all nursing services are delivered in compliance with state and federal regulations and physician orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the clinical management within a hospice setting.
- Ensure compliance with all hospice mission guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with patients, families, healthcare community, clinical staff, and attending physicians to ensure high-quality care and accurate documentation.
- Manage the hiring, orientation, and training of nursing staff, including annual competencies.
- Oversee collaboration between staff nurses and hospice pharmacy to optimize patient medication management.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance the quality of care and ensure patient safety.
- Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives to continually improve service delivery.
- Serve as a key liaison between the hospice and external regulatory bodies, ensuring adherence to all compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid RN license in Pennsylvania.
- Proven clinical management experience in hospice care.
- Strong understanding of hospice care missions and practices.
- Familiarity with state and federal compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
