Serenity Hospice is looking for an organized and enthusiastic Palliative Administrative Coordinator to join our team! This role will be responsible for supporting the Palliative department with administrative needs. This position will be office based in our Bordentown office.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary adminstrative support for the Palliative care team.
- Manage schedules and coordinates meetings for the team.
- Assist with preparation and distribution of educational materials and program resources.
- Track and monitor program data for reporting.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Provide logistical support for events/trainings.
- Ensure timely completion of adminstrative tasks and follow up on outstanding items.
Requirements:
- Two years of Adminstrative Coordinator experience in an office setting preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or palliative care setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Sensitivity and empathy when dealing with patients and families facing serious illness.
