This job is for Genesee County or Lapeer County residents only. The hours are 10-7pm Tuesday-*Friday & every Saturday from 10-2pm.*

Job Description: The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and clerical support for the Quick Response Team, assisting with various tasks to ensure smooth operations and effective communication. The Administrative Assistant will oversee taking crisis calls from overdose survivors and/or their families.
FLSA Classification: Hourly, Exempt
Job Summary:
Provide administrative support to the office, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings
Proficient in using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office SuitePrepare and proofread documents, reports, and correspondence
Assist with event planning and coordination
Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and transcribing
Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer support
Maintain office supplies and inventory
Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks
Manage email correspondence and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
Assist in managing the day-to-day administrative operations of the department.
Handle incoming communications and prioritize them for appropriate action.
Maintain accurate and organized records and documentation.
Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for department members.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence to appropriate personnel.
Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and appointments.
Assist in preparing meeting agendas, materials, and minutes.
Perform data entry, record keeping, and file management tasks.
Handle and prioritize incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
Assist with inventory management and office supply ordering.
Provide administrative support during special projects or events.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and documents.
Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure efficient operations.
Conduct research and compile data as required by the department.
Prepare and distribute internal communications and announcements.
Assist in coordinating travel arrangements for department members.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned by supervisors.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's degree or higher in business administration or related field preferred.
Previous experience in an administrative role is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Occasional lifting and carrying of office supplies and materials.
Regular use of a computer and other office equipment.
