JOB SUMMARY :

In the rapidly evolving retail media landscape, strong expertise in media, technology, omni-channel commerce, and consumer marketing is critical for driving growth. As a Retail Media Manager, you will be responsible for planning, activating, optimizing, and measuring retail media and programmatic investments. This role involves collaborating closely with the marketing and sales teams to solve critical business issues, and providing thought leadership on established and emerging retail media platforms.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented, highly analytical and data-driven. They are results-oriented and organized, with a proven ability to multitask, coordinate and execute plans effectively under tight deadlines. This individual thrives in a cross-functional team environment, and demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Retail Media and Programmatic Investments

  • Manage overall retail media budgets. Optimize bidding and actively adjust campaigns based on performance on a daily basis. Be a thought leader in campaign structures and account setup unique to each platform.
  • Drive results through rigorous optimizations, ensuring all KPIs are exceeding benchmarks for Instacart, Target, Walmart, Instacart, programmatic and other platforms.
  • Actively engage in 360-degree retail media meetings, stewarding relationships with key retail platforms to secure emerging opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Marketing and Sales to align brand and retailer growth objectives, translating them into actionable retail media campaigns that drive omni-channel demand and conversion.
  • Collaborate with retail media and shopper partners on planning, activation, optimization, and measurement (monthly, quarterly, annual) across key accounts.
  • Influence and educate cross-functional stakeholders on media investment strategies by brand.
  • Combine brand insights with sales priorities to create impactful media investment scenarios.
  • Partner with brand teams to guide investments, aligning media impact with sales goals.

Media Planning

  • Help execute media campaigns across TV, digital video, display and retail media.
  • Plan and manage media budgets across various channels, ensuring effective campaign execution.
  • Present milestones and obtain approvals from leadership stakeholders.
  • Campaign Activation and Optimization

  • Lead the process for creative and audience optimizations, including A / B testing strategies and new channel testing.
  • Oversee self-serve programmatic channels (display, video, native) and launch new channels.
  • Media Measurement

  • Set measurement goals for media spend and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Partner with insights teams on annual media mix measurement, refining future plans and optimizations.
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years of experience in paid media and retail media, preferably in CPG
  • 3-5 years of expertise with commerce platforms (Walmart Connect, Roundel Media Studio, Criteo, CirtrusAd, KPM, Instacart) familiarity with DSPs and retail customer / vendor joint business planning and automated custom ad bidding platforms like Skai
  • Preferred experience in CAC / LTV model and / or full-funnel media planning and digital tactic activation, with knowledge of how these programs integrate with omni-channel campaigns
  • Proven track record of managing media investments
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with a performance-driven mindset
  • Ability to travel about 10% of the time
