Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Counselor to join our team. The Counselor will provide counseling services to individuals dealing with various challenges and mental health issues.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions
- Implement behavior management techniques
- Provide crisis intervention when needed
- Utilize applied behavior analysis in counseling sessions
- Offer addiction counseling and support
- Perform child and family counseling as required
- Manage cases effectively and maintain accurate records
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling or related field
- Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis is a plus
- Proven experience in addiction counseling and crisis intervention
- Familiarity with coding for insurance billing purposes
- Strong understanding of child and family counseling techniques
- Ability to conduct individual and group counseling sessions effectively
- Proficient in case management and working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality
